TortoiseHG & Filters

TortoiseHG supports filtering the list of shown branches. You can specify the list of branches by using filter expressions:

• branch("development") -> display development-branch only
• branch("integration") -> display integration-branch only

• branch("development") or branch("feature/MY-AWESOME_FEATUREBRANCH") -> display development- and feature-branch at the same time

• head() -> Displays all heads on all branches
• merge() -> Show all Merge Commits
• tagged() -> Show all Tags
• author('<String>') -> Searches all Commits for this substring in the respective author information
  • Can be usefull to find all commits by ‘@companyname.tld’: author('@acme.com')
  • Supports boolean operators author('AUHTOR-NAME') and branch('staging')

Show all Tags on development branch

• hg log -r "tagged() and branch("development")"
